The Most Stressful week ever!

Thankfully this week is the last week of classes before finals. However, this means its the last week to turn in all of my assignments. I was prepared to spend my week being completely stressed but yesterday my stress went to a whole new level. My boyfriend has what is called Hereditary Andioedema which causes his body to swell. Usually his stomach swells but yesterday his throat swelled. This was extremely bad. He was taken to the ER because he was having a hard time breathing, swallowing, and talking. I was a wreck!! I was at work when I found out and left instantly. I went to the hospital around 7 and waiting for hours. He wasnt improving so around midnight they transfered him to Parkview Main hospital. This was kind of fun because I got to go in the ambulance with lights and sirens. I ended up staying at the hospital until 2:30 or so and didnt go to bed at all. Since it is the last week of classes I still had to do all my homework. He's better now and I am almost done with all my homework :)

TWO MORE DAYS AND I AM BASICALLY DONE!! WOOOHOOO

SUMMER

Probaby like all of us I am counting down the days till summer. This one is going to be an amazing summer. First of all my boyfriend Alex's sister is having a baby...which will be fun! I love kids, one of the reasons I went into education. Also, and most exciting, my best friend, her boyfriend, Alex and I are going to Rock on the Range in May. This is the third year in a row Alex and I will be going but the first time with my best friend. I LOVE LOVE LOVE roadtrips. I am so excited. The concert is two days full of rock bands. Its amazing. I am driving us all the way to Columbus, Ohio in my rinky dink car but I think we will make it. We are going up early so us girls can shop and do all that fun stuff before the concert. :) This is the one thing I have been soo eager for. The countdown for this started months ago. If you dont like rock you wouldnt like it so much but just the entire atmosphere of all the people and the booths and things that are set up, its like no other concert you probably will go to. The only bad thing is since you are there all day long you have to buy food there and it is SO expensive. An entire pizza is like 30 dollars; for 8 slices of pizza. Its ridiculous but thats really the only bad part of it.

So I only have 7 more days of classes, and 35 days until the concert and the baby's due date!! We really hope he comes early or we wont be here :)

End of the Semester

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The semester is almost over!! It is such a relief, this semester has been a rough one. It feels like I have been on pins and needles with everything this semester. I am looking so forward to the summer. I will have time to sleep and not have to do a ton of homework every night. I love this program at Saint Francis but it is wearing me out. A break is much needed. :)

Long and exhausting week

Its only Tuesday and I have been swamped with stuff! I think teachers intentionally give us a ton of homework after spring break to punish us. It seems like all I have been doing is homework...especially READ 200 homework. Its a lesson plan or a critique or silly busy work assignment. I have killed sooo many trees with the amount of papers I have had to print off for that class. Its frustrating. Why do they have to make something so simple into a huge complicated process?! I am really looking forward to the end of the semester. I need a break from it all!! Well thats my ramblings for today!

Homework, Homework, Homework!

So its crunch time. There arent many weeks left of school but I have sooo much to do. I feel like I am buried in assignments and there is not enough time to do them all. I probably wouldnt be so stressed out if I didnt procrasinate on everything. I just dont really feel like doing anything. I am ready for summer. I love these nice warm days we have been having. I wish they would just stay! :) i am a huge fan of cute tank tops and sandals, so I love the warmer weather!! I just wish the warmer weather wouldnt distract me from everything I need to be doing. Homework is consuming my life!!

Tomorrow is my Birthday :)

So....tommorow is my 20th birthday and its kinda bittersweet. I am excited dont get me wrong because it my birthday but its my first birthday without my Grandpa. My Grandpa went out of his way to make our birthday spectacular We are a family oriented family and it will be hard not to have him here for this get together. He was the best person to have around for our birthdays. He would come up with silly songs or sayings that were special for whichever birthday we were having. Then when my sisters, cousins and I hit shopping age, it became a tradition to go shopping with him. It was something we all looked forward to every year. While we were shopping my Grandpa would sit on the couches at the mall and wait. He might wander or go smoke but we would always find him on a chair :) I can hear him tell me how I am not a teen anymore and I have hit the twenties. It makes me sad, but the memories make me happy.

I am excited for my birthday and cannot wait to see whats to come in the next twenty years!

SPRING BREAK!

I am SOOOOO ready for spring break!! I need a break from school and to relax. This semester hasnt been super hard but consistently busy. It seems like there is always something I need to do. I havent been the most motivated to do anything recently, which makes it soo much worse. I am not going anywhere for spring break but I am so excited its right around the corner. I am looking forward to sleeping in and doing nothing school related for an entire week. I might take a road trip a couple of days but I dont really have much money to go far. Just thinking about our break is making me so anxious for it to come. 2 more days :) only 2 more days!!
